my buddy

i am so grateful to be able to stay at home with this little peanut all day. 

she is always so much fun to be around and impresses me each day with new words and things she is learning. she follows me around the house and wants to be by my side all the time. 

i was thinking about how really i only have about five years with her home all day with me. right now she doesn't have much outside influence other than our friends and family. everything she knows and learns comes from us. it makes me so sad to think that someday she will loose the innocence that she now has. part of me wishes i could shelter her and keep her under my wing forever. my hope is that i can teach her to stand up for what is right and to be a good girl.
