This little girl makes me smile. I love her because...

-she is a sweet big sister

-she always gives you a hug

-non stop talker

-she knows the words to single ladies and dances along too!

-claire is constantly asking me to paint her nails or to wear one of my "princess" (prom) dresses

-she is the biggest girlie girl around

-she has an adorable smile and laugh

-her mom claims that she has a round bum..but she really doesn't.

-she is OBSESSED with marriage. for a while she was convinced she was going to marry her dad. every time she sees me she asks if i'm married yet.

-she is the biggest poser ever.

-we are buds :)

can you say pathetic?

for one of my classes we were assigned to count the number of items we have more than one of. such as clothes, shoes, toys, etc...from the moment i was given this task, i knew it would be a daunting one. after counting my posessions i felt spoiled, pathetic, and yet blessed. i do need to impart of my substance. "give said the little stream, give oh, give." i will share with you my numbers. so here we go..

shirts: 150

skirts, shorts, pants, etc: 53

dresses: 26

jackets, coats, sweatshirts: 25

shoes: 30--the cow girl boots and the rose heels are my favorites :)

purses: 12

dolls: 25

pictures on the wall: 181 (including dances and collages)

headbands: 35

perfume: 5

books: 55

now in my defense, some of these items are very old but still in good shape. as my mother always said "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without." (that saying was hanging above my closet as a child) and the nice young lady that was helping me out today at Bare Essentials has never owned mascara from a grocery store..she spends up to $50 on a tube of mascara! That makes me feel a little better..considering my mascara is like $3

I know I am blessed and I know I have much to give.

life as i know it is coming to a screeching halt...

"I am so grateful for these three years of high school where i have laughed, loved, cried, sang, traveled, learned, played, dreamed, evolved, grown, experienced, hung out, talked, texted, shopped, ate, gone to the temple, early mornings, served as laurel's president, developed strong friendships, strengthened my testimony, taken pictures (lots of them) wasted time on facebook, been jealous, had righteous and not so righteous desires, been a ravid Taylor Swift fan, learned how to drive, had a few bad driving experiences, lost things, but won more in the long run, tried to smile my way through some hard days, cried myself to sleep, spent long hours in the classroom, dances, sleepovers, midnight premiers, summer fun, worked hard, great harvest, mood swings, felt sorry, scripture study, and SO much more

I have been blessed beyond measure."

once upon a time...i knew what if felt like to be tan. now...not so much :(

great find at J crew! used to be $80...got it on sale for $40 :) can't wait for the summer weather and am sooo ready for my trip to the beach!
